Work with Cinematic Camera

So, I managed to do everything that I wanted to do for this month, though there were a few hiccups along the way. Though, that's fine, these kinds of things happen during game development, as well as design. For our last month, it's just about cleaning up and making few changes to our game. Now, everything that we had planned for the game may not make it into the final build, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to work on this project.

Pretty much one of the last things I have to do is to help Munnie with the cinematic camera. As of right now, we're not sure how we're going to approach this, but I assume that from last time, we wanted to have the game play a cutscene when the player collects a battery, like so:

This is just one example, where there's a camera fixed on a certain position as the player controller navigates to the trail. The camera follows the trail until the player pushes any key to continue. There hasn't been any real work done with the camera yet, but that'll change in the following days to come. We're still brainstorming on how we want to do this. Much like everything else, there's a dozen ways on how to do this, though I'll keep you updated.
